Gossip is Ugly!
I honestly thought that at a certain age people  grow out of calling other people names, but sadly, this isn't always true. Wild Things has had trouble from members of the public. There is a website up called "Rehab gone Wrong," that says a lot of nasty things about Wild Things and its founder & president, Victoria Campbell.
Back in 2009, the woman who wrote this webpage was arrested for harrassment and a restraining order was issued to keep her away from Miss Campbell and all of the wild things patients & property. The NY Department of Environmental

Opossums may get angry, but they don't post mean things on the web about you!
___Conservation, who visited upon the woman's request, wrote that Wild Things was "one of the  best home-based rehabilitation centers we have seen."
The nasty website is full of outright lies with lots of information and pictures taken out of context. Wild Things considered taking legal action against her, but decided that the expense and time needed for a libel suit and a cease-and-desist action would be much better used helping more wild things' patients.
Hopefully she will eventually realize that her words are hurtful and cause wild things in need to suffer needlessly. We have faith that in time she will eventually take down the website and chill out!
