I was just in NYC for a few days. i had to see my hip doctor as my hip is being surgically repaired in a few weeks. Entering the city always makes me feel like part of my heart dies...until I open my eyes and see all the nature there. This is a picture of a few Rock doves, a.k.a. pigeons, and an European Starling (an introduced species) fighting over a piece of NYC pizza on 81st & 2nd. I took it on the way to my doctors office.
